8 Hours of Labor at San Felasco Trials in Alachua, Florida

Directions:  Take I-75 to exit #399, go SE 2.8miles (through the town of Alachua), then turn right on Progress Blvd, go straight back about a mile to the park entrance. 

This annual event is held at one of the most spacious and varied trail systems in Florida.  The Friends of San Felasco volunteers do a wonderful job building and maintaining these beautiful and challenging trails. The event is either done solo or with a team your choice, the course layout is usually 10 miles in length per lap.

Six Gap/ Three Gap – Sun, September 24, 2017 at 7:00 am

Coming on September 24, 2017 and taking place in Georgia's Premier Cycling Venue, the Six Gap Century & Three Gap Fifty boasts many of the same roads and mountain climbs as the elite Tour de Georgia. Come ride the Ride of the Pros! The Six Gap Century’s ultra challenging route takes you up and down six of the steepest climbs in the North Georgia Mountains. Test your stamina with more than 11,200 feet of vertical climbing over the 104 mile course.  Elevations for the six gaps in this ride range from 1,400 feet to 3,460 feet. The toughest climb, Hogpen Gap, will test even the strongest riders, averaging a 7% grade for seven miles, with sections as steep as 15%.

The Three Gap Fifty’s alternative route offers half the gaps and half the distance, but is nevertheless a demanding and challenging course at 58 miles.  Elevations range from 1,400 feet to 3,364 feet.

The 7th Annual "Valley Route" Bike Ride is a 35-mile valley option is a great introduction to the infamous Six Gap Century and boasts some of the most scenic mountainside in the Southeast. This new route will cast a special spotlight onto Yahoola Valley, Turner's Corner, and R-Ranch in the Mountains.

100 miles. 11,200 vertical feet. 3,000 friends.

Bike MS: PGA TOUR Cycle to the Shore 2017 – Sat, October 14, 2017 at 6:00 am

Bike MS: PGA TOUR Cycle to the Shore is a fundraising cycling event from TPC Sawgrass to Daytona Beach and back. There are one and two day route options available, all of which are well supported with fully-stocked rest stops every 10-12 miles, a great lunch stop each day and safety provided by medical personnel, HAM radio operators, law enforcement and motorcycle escorts. The ride begins Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. Riders will travel along the beautiful Florida scenic coastline and end on the Daytona Beach Boardwalk. Day 2 begins with a hearty breakfast before heading the finish line.

Your participation will drive MS research forward faster, and deliver services to those who face the challenges of MS every day so they can live their best lives.

Three Rivers Ride – Sat, November 04, 2017 at 7:00 am

Enjoy riding from the waterfront in historic St. Marys, GA. See their landlocked Submarine at Kings Bay, the historic Tabby Ruins, Crooked River State Park and the Woodbine Waterfront Park and ancient Oak Tree. 

Family friendly activities available in the area. 

Rides Available 8 mile, 30 miles, 66 miles, 100 miles

Riders 14 years and older are welcome for the 30 mi, 66 mi, & 100 mi routes!

Family Fun Ride is open to all family members, but youth under 14 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times during the ride.
