Yakima's vehicle-specific Q Clips are required to mount Yakima Q-Towers to your car. One end of the Q Clip attaches to the Tower and the other end attaches to your vehicle's door frame when you fasten your roof rack. Plus, they're coated to protect your vehicle's finish. Yakima's Viper bike mount has a rugged die-cast head that easily accepts and securely grips almost every quick-release fork, even those with disc brakes. For super easy mounting, it includes an ergonomic long-throw quick release and a ratcheting wheel strap. Plus, the Viper's long tray works great on vehicles with short roof lines. The Viper fits on round- and square-bar racks, too.

Thule's AeroBlade Load Bars are the strong, silent type. Using a sophisticated BoxBeam construction, they're some of the strongest load bars on the market with a capacity of up to 165 pounds. That's the strong, now for the silent: In addition to their wing-like shape, the AeroBlades sport a textured surface that greatly improves wind flow so you get drastically reduced noise and much better gas mileage. Thule says their Fairing is a stylish roof-rack accessory that decreases noise and wind resistance. But we both know what you'll use it for: plastering it with all your stickers. This polycarbonate shield fits both square and Rapid Aero crossbars (sold separately), comes in several widths to fit a wide range of vehicles, and is built for rigidity to alleviate wind-slap.
