Chris King Driveshells contain two of our legendary made-in-house bearings, a machined bearing spacer spring to aid in preloading the bearings and a spacer spring o-ring. We encourage you to service your bearings before resorting to replacement. Driveshell Inner Bearings require an R45 or Universal Hub Tool to remove and reinstall.

This is one of the most versatile spokes in the DT Swiss spoke range. DT competition gets its special strength from cold forging. This makes an extremely durable spoke and thanks to the thinner middle section, it is 48 g lighter (per 64 spokes) than a spoke with a constant diameter of 1.8 mm. The Wolf Tooth axle uses a captive steel washer under the head to reduce friction on the fork leg. This protects your expensive fork, transfers more of the tightening torque to clamping load for a stiffer interface and prevents the axle from sticking or galling when you want to remove it. These are also a great replacement option for lost or damaged stock axles.
